As much of my work tends to be, this piece was inspired by a song. It features my character, Gus Murphy, an Irish terrier. He comes from my story with the working title "Seadog." In this story, he must overcome his deep fears of the ocean to uncover the mystery of the many dogs who have gone missing from his home town.

Gus looks up and over his fear of the ocean as he gazes upon the bright star featured in this peace, giving him hope amidst a situation that seems mystically hopeless. But is it?
