Book Cover Redesign

This is a redesign of a book cover I created for an advertising design class. Students were to choose a book out of a presented pile and redesign its cover, including all necessary information and markings.

I chose "Friday Night Lights" from the pile, and thus, this more modern iteration of the design was born. I am an avid Barnes & Noble browser definitely the type of person to pick up a book because of its neat cover design. My hope is that those who come across this book would be inclined to pick it up for the same reason, whether they were already familiar with the story or new to it.
